The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV had line dancing three nights a week.
Sadly, Grand Sierra Resort stopped having country nights in 2020 and never brought it back.
Recently, I had the chance to attend one of the Thursday night lessons, and I was impressed. There were over 40 people there for lessons and it was 10 pm! The instructor is a very good dancer, but could work on his teaching style. Since I’ve learned lots of dances, I was able to follow along fairly well, but some people were having a hard time getting it. The dance was not an easy one, so I will give him that! The DJ did a great job of keeping people dancing before and after the lessons.
